Florence (Firenze) Day 12 & 13

Days 12 & 13 were spent out at Cinque Terre, a series of 5 fishing villages on the Italian coast of the Mediterranean Sea.  The water was gorgeous, a translucent Blue to Sea Green color that was astounding.  I enjoyed hiking from town to town and up some of the local mountains to visit old shrines.  The weather was beautiful and I had a great time out on the coast.  The food was great.  Apparently Cinque Terre is the home of Pesto.  I had a Pesto Lasagna that was delicious.  The Beaches were pebbly with sand that had been brought in.  The sounds the rocks made as the water washed up on the shore was musical to my ears, I posted a video below.  It is too hard to describe the beauty of the area so look at the pictures.
