Another set of beautiful days in Italy. I’ve been having a ball. Today I went to a De Chirico / Max Ernst / Magritte / Balthus exhibit. It was amazing seeing this early 20th Century art in context with all of the older work I have been seeing here in Italy, it means a lot more to me. Though again I wasn’t allowed to take pictures while in the museum. The museum was a palace for one of the rich Florentine Families finished 500 years ago. I am blown away by that, I could not imagine someone having an art exhibit in our house 500 years from now.
