Dot, dot, dot … Stipple Glazed Clay

Dot, dot, dot … Stipple Glazed Clay post thumbnail image

It seems, when left to my own devices I have to put dots (a.k.a Stipple) on my work.  It is a process that has consumed me lately.  For me there is are meditative qualities to putting dot after dot of glaze on my work.  I am able to lose time and be consumed by the work.  All of the stippled patterns I put on my pieces are done free hand; as I begin placing the dots on the process informs itself and the patterns unfold before me.

I have added a few of the many pieces I have done recently to my portfolio page.  I feel these best represent the work that I am doing with this process.
