Our study into the Baroque period began today. I have been looking forward to this for a long time. I love Bernini’s sculptures his ability to translate surface textures into marble was unprecedented and a major breakthrough in his time. Even by today’s standards he is genius in his sculpting abilities.

Here we are into day 10 of my study abroad in Italy. This trip has been awesome. Today I saw some of the most inspiring works for me to date.
