London – Day 5

Today was spent at the National Gallery in London. I was able to see work from all over the world.  I spent about 5 hours there and just started to scratch the surface of what was available.  I loved being able to see work from all over the world, Ancient Greece, Rome, Egypt, the Middle East, and the British Isles.  They even had a history of clocks and of coinage from around the world (the coinage pictures are for my friend Bryant who showed an interest in that while we were in Italy).  The museum is beautiful and open without cost to the public, which is refreshing after being in Italy and having to pay for almost every exhibit and museum you visit.  So far there are three areas you need to go when you come to London; The Tate Museum, Camden & Regent’s Park, & the National Museum.
