Here we are into day 10 of my study abroad in Italy. This trip has been awesome. Today I saw some of the most inspiring works for me to date. We went to the Borghese Villa and saw Bernini’s David, Apollo and Daphne, and Pluto and Persephone. They were amazing. I am not sure there are words to describe the energy and emotion contained in these grand works of art, they have forever changed the way I look at my own sculpture.
